Mark Seliger; When They Came to Take My Father
Opening Reception,  Saturday November 10th 2012

Tolerance Minnesota and Photography at the Center are proud to bring the photography exhibit, “When They Came to Take My Father,” by the world renowned photographer Mark Seliger to Minnesota. On loan from Holocaust Museum of Houston , this powerful exhibit includes 22 framed black and white portraits that convey a brutal honesty, bringing to light the horrific and dark memories that the survivors must carry with them. Taken together, Seliger’s collection of words and images forms a moving testimony to human dignity and a record of history that cannot, and must not, be forgotten.
